Biography

Ashley was born in Washington, DC in 1980, but has lived in Myrtle Beach since she was four years old. Ashley graduated from the Calhoun Honors College at Clemson University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Ashley graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Ashley was a peer counselor and received a CALI award in Domestic Relations.

Ashley joined the Bellamy Law Firm in 2004. Ashley’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate, development, zoning and land use planning. Ashley has worked with developers on numerous oceanfront high-rise resort developments, mixed-use developments, single-family residential subdivisions, and commercial developments. Ashley is a member of the Horry County and South Carolina Bar Associations.

Ashley is an active member of the Myrtle Beach community. She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she serves on the Strategic Task Force Committee, and has previously served as a youth leader. She is a member of the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, gsSCENE Young Professionals Group, and has volunteered for the Myrtle Beach Corporation for the Arts and the Art Museum.

When not practicing law, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe, and their daughter. She also enjoys running and relaxing at the beach.
