Biography
George Redman is a junior partner in the firm’s litigation department, where he represents clients in complex business, commercial, real property, and general litigation matters. George advises many such clients in these matters to prevent litigation.
George was born in Rapid City, South Dakota in 1970, and graduated from Central High School in 1989. He moved to the Myrtle Beach area in 1990, where he attended the University of South Carolina’s Conway campus, which was known as Coastal Carolina College.
After receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, George worked as a Paramedic for Horry County EMS for seven years. During that time he continued his education at Coastal Carolina University earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Management in 2001.
George graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004 with honors as a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe. During law school he earned a position as a member of the Moot Court Board, and served as an Articles Editor for the American Bar Associations Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal. George received two CALI Awards, one in Estate Planning and the other in English Legal History. He served as a law clerk for the Bellamy Law Firm for two years during law school.
After graduation, George returned to the Myrtle Beach area to join the Bellamy Law Firm’s litigation team. As a Tier II partner for the firm he has been, and continues to be, immersed in numerous significant civil litigation matters. When he is not practicing law, George is involved in the Grand Strand community. He is a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, past President and a current member of the Coastal Carolina Sertoma Club, and a former member on the Board of Directors for the Coastal Carolina University Alumni Association.
