Biography
Ben is a Shareholder in the firm’s litigation department, where he represents both businesses and individuals in all aspects of business, commercial and employment, disputes, arbitrations, and trial.
In 2001, Ben graduated from The Citadel cum laude and Phi Kappa Phi with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. As a cadet, Ben was Chairman of the Honor Committee, President of the Inn of Court, a member of the Round Table, and the Opinion Editor of The Brigadier. He also completed a pre-law program at Selwyn College at Cambridge University in England.
In 2004, Ben graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was Associate Justice for Competitions and Manager of the National Team of the Moot Court Bar. Ben also founded the G.O.P. Law Society along with two other classmates. He was inducted into the John Belton O’Neill Inn of Court during his third year.
In 2004, Ben returned home to Florence, South Carolina and practiced with the law firm of Aiken Bridges, P.A. for three years as an associate.
In May 2007, Ben joined the Bellamy Law Firm as an associate. Ben is an active member of the Grand Strand Sertoma Club (2010-2011 President), Belin United Methodist Church, and serves as a Board Member of GS Lead, a program of the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce that teaches area leaders how to serve as Board Members of Non-Profit Organizations. Ben and his wife Charlotte live in Murrells Inlet, and Ben enjoys fishing, playing golf, hunting, and writing.
